Roger Leclerc has extensive management experience in economic development, business development and education and training. He has spent a number of years working in the resource based industries in a variety of capacities from labour to management.
In the past few years Roger has worked with consultants on research projects at a provincial and regional level. Some of the provincial projects were a study of Aboriginal Housing in BC which was commissioned by the Province of BC, and a second study was on Aboriginal Apprenticeship which was commissioned by Industry Training Authority (ITA) and Aboriginal Human Resource Council.
Roger has also been an owner operator of a logging/ construction business for a number of years before moving into managing training centers and was previously the Institute Manager of Kitimat Valley Institutewhich is an accredited private post secondary institution owned bytwo shareholders, the Haisla Nation and Rio Tinto Alcan.
Roger is president of LeRoger Consulting Ltd. He has a Masters Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University
